Again?

Where's the frickin video MB? Well, it's in my camera and on my hardrive... and I'm leaving. So screw you.
Yup, before returning fully I'm leaving again. Today heading out to Ludington State Park. They have new hike/bike in sites. Good times. Whelp, later.

Off the Grid

This week - starting tomorrow (Monday) - I'll be off the grid. Since I recently found out that I have the summer off I told camp that they could call me if they needed help. Well, they do and they did. So for the next six days I'll be working long hours, running around, camping out, getting dirty, hanging out with kids, helping out the counselors, possibly being woken up at night to take care of a sick kid, etc. And I'll be without access to the internet, something that's been increasingly difficult to be away from.
So, just wanted to let anyone who checks this where I've gone.

Whoa, Ok

I've just seen the most amazing thing! I don't want to blow it so I won't tell you what's so amazing but Tuesday on The PAN (yeah, I'm a little behind on watching feeds) they showed a clip of this incredible bird and its call being narrated by David Attenborough. I thought parts of it were fake it was so astonishing.

For those of you who don't have the time, attention span, or desire to watch the whole episode (although I don't know who wouldn't) :) the Attenborough clip starts at about 2/3 of the way through the show. Seriously, this is something you've got to watch.

We Are the Media Challenge 1: Half Second Clips

During Vloggercon I'd been living without music (except karaoke!). When I got home I spent the next few commutes catching up on my favorite stuff. I was gonna make a clip show with this anyway, now the clips are just a bit shorter. :) Only used one of the music clips but if you want to know what else I listened to just ask! I LOVE talking about music. :)

I Was bored when Becca, my cousin, best friend, traveling companion, went ahead on the trail and I decided to pick up my camera. Discovered the video function. And the rest is history. I hadn't even thought about vlogging at that point.

Didn't do anything fancy, just shot what I was thinking about so I decided not to do anything fancy with it. Show it how it is.

Ebb and Flow: Let's Do Something Different

Recently among a lot of vloggers there's been a conversation about sexism. People have made videos portraying all sorts of viewpoints. Some have said that the issue needs to be ignored, others have been so enraged that they feel they haven't explained themselves well. Ebb and Flow put together this video. It resonates completely with the way I've been feeling about all that's been going on and sexism in general. Thanks Jen and Kent!
